Hi there

I have a 2016 Ducato and have just bought a twin bench seat, to swap with the single passenger seat. I know it's normally the other way round but we need the three front seats.

What happens with the single seat pretensioner and the airbag connection under the seat? I dont think the double seat has any connections or uses a pretensioner?

Any help would be appreciated

I believe the double seats have pre-tensioners and connections. I am converting an ambulance which has no passenger seat, the connection is tucked away.
Those single passenger seats are quite hard to come by. Actually, I am looking for one. Whereabouts in Scotland are you?

There should be a pretensioner on the double seat to connect the two wires to. Failing that you can connect them to 2.2 ohm resistor (a sidelight bulb will do if you haven't got one) to fool the computer into thinking the pretensioner is still connected. Otherwise the computer will detect the pretensioner is missing and illuminate the warning light on the dashboard (MOT fail)

I'll have another look on the double seat but I dont think I saw anywhere to connect to on them.
The resistor will be a good work around if I cant find the connections, thanks.

I'll have another look at the double seat, hopefully it's tucked away and I've just missed it.
I'm just outside Perth and looking to sell the single passenger seat, which is in great condition
