General suspention wonky

hi i need some help i brought my cinq in 2009 and only just noticedthe suspention is wonky so i thought lowering the car would help witch it hasnt is is lower on drivers side than it is on passewnger side i only droped it 40m and the drivers side looks like it is on a 60m spring so i replaced the shock on drivers side and it still the same so need advise thanks ryan

Replace the passenger side shock asap, you should never replace suspension parts on only one side.

What you have is 'cento lean'. They all do it.

Could be that on the ones over here a lot of the weight is at the drivers side, engine + driver. Where as the LHD ones would balance a bit better as it'd be gearbox + driver.

so i dont need to put on all new front suspention

Not neccessarily, although the youngest cinq is now 13 years old and would benefit from a suspension refurb, if not already done.

Were the top mounts OK when you did the spring swap?

I'd agree with Arc about replacing both struts -- effective life of struts is only about 40,000 miles at best. You may even find the struts are not the same length!

Do check the top mounts and, indeed, the lower arms.

the spring change was do about end of june time i need to put all new suspention on anyway beacuse i get a knocking nosie every time i got over the speed humps on both sides so im going to replace the lower arms and put powerflex bushes on the anti roll bar and a new shocker

Check the top mounts, too. The bearings are embedded in rubber which tends to crack and perish.
