Hi.
I'm a newbee regarding suspension and i hope you guys can help me.
My Marea is sailing a bit around on the road.
It seems like the suspension takes small fast bumps fine,
but when hitting a hill top og similar it takes quite some time before
the car is steady again.
This causes my kids to get car sick on every single one of our long trips.(n)
So i'm quite tired of cleaning the back seat of the car...!

What should i look for, dampers or springs?

I really also miss a speed independend power steering in the car.
No need to have power steering going 130Km/h.

Cheers
Michael

Sounds like shockers, however coil springs can break, and the Marea wishbones are a bit prone to worn bushes, but that leads to clunks and pulling power on power off.
I would look at the springs, and if they are OK maybe a pair of rear shocks (cheap and easy to fit) will cure it.

Yep, i know about the whisbone issue, i replaced both last year.
The springs are in one piece, so i guess i'll go for 4 new dampers.
I've also observed oil leake on the right front damper, so it's about time.
They aren't that cheap in DK, around 100 pounds a piece.

Cheers

Hi wheeler920.

Thanks for the tip! (y)
I may give it a go, it's very cheap.
Just need to check shipping and custom costs...

I've also found a fairly cheap site in DK, but i'm uncertain about the quality...

Cheers
Michael
