suspension problems

hi all. hope you are ok.

i am the proud owner of a 2002 fiat punto sporting 1.2 16v i brough 4 months ago. i am very pleased with the cars looks and handling even if it loses out on power, but it is great fun. unfortunatly i live on a road which is like a mine field. recently my car has developed a knocking noise coming from the front suspension. i am told it is a problem with the shock absorber. has anyone ever come across a similar problem? any information which would could shed any light on my problems would be greatly appreciated.

Suspension part are consumables and will wear out. If the roads you drive on a bad they will wear out quicker.
Check out the Punto section they may be able to diagnose your problem.
