hi
I suspect that it is a software error.
I can contact the ecu with multiecuscan.
I get information when it was programmed etc.
But here it stops.
I can't get any error codes out. No parameters are visible.
The only thing I get is information about the ecu.
I took another software from the net and loaded it. Then error codes and parameters are visible. So the ECU must be ok.

The problem is that I can't start the car. The immo light is flashing.
Tried to turn off the immo on the original software. and loaded it on the ecu with kess v2.
Both recovery and write. (with and without checksum correction). But the same error.
It doesn't respond to parameters or error codes

I read the software on the bench with GQ-4x4 and saved it (original).
Opened it in hex editor and thought it looked ok.

Now I don't know what to do.
Is there anyone who can see if the original software is faulty?

You probably know a lot more than me on this subject, but many years ago on an Iveco Daily Sofim 2.8 JTD that used a Bosch MS6.3 ECU, I managed to lose the chip in the immobiliser key (long story) however, Iveco Dealers wanted in excess of £1000 to fix. I was able to send the ECU to a diagnostic company who disabled the immobiliser side, I was instructed to unplug all the antenae ring and and the box it was connected too that then talked to the Bosch MS6.3 before refitting the ECU and reconnecting the battery. Problem solved and cost including postage around £137.
The older 2.8 Sofim engines also used in Duacato and Daily's were pre common rail engines and the Bosch Injector pump had the immobiliser built on to the end of it which was possible to bypass, some easier than others.;)
The other problem was, commercial vehicles of that era were not obliged to have EOBD ports that could be easily read.
