General Surface error Grundig Cd Player

Hi all
Just joined the forum I have a 2.4D Weekend and love it
Can anyone help with my CD problem it only works intermitently I am for ever getting the annoying SURFACE display on the heads up unit no matter what discs I try
I have tried using a head cleaner to no avail :bang:
Please help if you can

thats a new one?

i'd replace the crappy CD player with an aftermarket one. you know you want to. the adapter to allow any standard sized CD player to fit is very cheap, try ebay.

I've had surface come up once - not sure if that was due to an error or if I'd came to the end of the stack of discs.

had the surface message on mine wirdly turned discs works fine now
