This week's poll is going to give you a chance to talk about Supercars whether it's reminiscing over old classics and how new technology is ruining the fun or if it's the opposite and cars are getting better and better.

Quite simply tell me which decade produced the best Supercar(s) and why.

Ferrari F40... nuff said

Pretty much the most iconic supercar that is in my head from my younger years

I quite like older Lambo's, just because they are bonkers. I do think the 90's had the best "supercars" though... which fits in rather neatly with my theory that car production in general was at it's peak in that decade.

Just think, in that 10 year period we had

McLaren F1
Jag Xj220 (stunning to look at, at least)
Bugatti Eb110
Lambo Diablo
Ferrari f355
Dodge Viper
All manner of porsche 911's
Ferrari f50
Ferrari 550

And that's just off the top of my head for a good mix of "types" of Supercar, there's efficient engineered ones, bonkers ones, brash ones, pretty ones

All cars that were faster than anything that had gone before but lacked electrical everything and safety overload we see nowadays.

Bar the F50 & 911s I would agree with that list.

I'd say 1990s
Lamborghini Diablo
Jaguar XJ220
McLaren F1
Dodge Viper
Ferrari 550
Bugatti EB110
Acura NSX-T
Toyota Supra
Nissan Skyline R33 GT-R & technically R34 GT-R (built 1998)
Mitsubishi EVO (1-6)
Subaru Impreza
Ford Escort COSWORTH

But I also appreciate the Supercars of the 80s
Ferrari F40
Ford Sierra COSWORTH
Lotus Esprit Turbo
Aston Martin V8 Vantage Zagato
Lamborghini Countach
De Tomossa Pantera
Ferrari Testarossa
Ferrari 288GTO
Nissan Skyline: R30, R31 & technically R32 GT-R (built in 1989)

I wouldn't count either Cosworth Ford as a supercar tbh. Nor would i count Impreza's or Evo's.

Also, the Countach isn't an 80's car, it's a 70's one. As is technically the Esprit, even though the turbo wasn't here until the 80's.
