General Sunroof - What to do?

Fix it again Trevor.

Silly designers, what a hopeless design for mounting the sunroof.

All these cars with sunroofs have rust, well the three I bought have, including the one I sold, wihc literally had no rust anywhere else, it was a Jan 1984 reg.

So anyway now I have to fix my remaining one.
So far a clean up, POR15 and some bodyu glue to glue te mounts back on, and maybe glue on some more panel steel.

It will be interesting to see how it goes, and if it keeps the rust at bay for a while.

So far so good. Looks like the treatment I have given it will have half a chance of working.

Will take a few pics to show the damage, and repair, but I am no body repairer!~! :bang:

Maybe time to buy a Punto!
