Grande Punto Suffolk Fiat Newbie

Good morning all, have just taken ownership of a 1.9 Fiat Grande Punto..... Just thought Id say hello as within the three days of ownership I seem to of broken all kinda of things on it already....

Believe i've jammed the EGR valve up
When moving the fan from 0 to 4 no air comes out,
Glovebox hinge has disintegrated in my hand with no signs of superglue being used before hand....

The glove box handle is really weak. I need to order a third new glove box handle soon! They are dead easy to fit though, just three screws if I remember, its a 2 minute job

not had the issue with the fans but I few people on here have, I believe its to do with one of the wires behind the centre console buring out. I think there is more info about this in the sticky 'common problems thread'.
