subwoofer not working!?

heyyy ..... i have a punto sporting, and the sub was working before and then i replaced the tape player with a sony cd player, because it had a cd changer in the boot and it just cut out all the time ... but now my sub doesnt work, is the sub only work with the tape unit? because people at halfords said it should work? :S any help would be good, thanks.

have you reconnected the remote that is on the yellow mini iso?

not a clue lol ... halfords just plugged it in and didnt really do alot .... they said it should work with the cd player as its not a seperate sub ... still sounds really good sound quality and better then average ... its just annoying its not working :/

well if halfords havnt got it working then they havnt done their job have they. I have never actually got the sub to work personally but then i havnt really tried.
Some people say its a simple as puting the remote to it.

Take it back to halfords and tell them to finish off the job. Im sorry for the rant here but i get really annoyed with them. They offer a fitting service but dont train their staff properly. Then if they cant complete the job they just leave it. If you paid an indipendant specialist would you still pay them full price for half a job?
People tend to think that halfords give free fitting. You are actually paying a premium price on the product so they can offer the service. You are well within your rights to demand a refund on the fitting.

the sub uniti works, but the people at halffords didn't do the connection between the cd player (blue wire) and the iso female connector of the car
