Hi all, I have a 2013 scudo panarama bus and need a new clutch. However I have just been told there is a problem getting the bolts out to remove the front subframe. Does anybody have experience of the best way to remove the bolts (torx head I believe) any ideas welcome. By the way, this is my first time on a forum ?

Im not 100% sure the subframe needs to be disturbed..
The steering rack is often bolted to it.. and that can be bad for corroded bolts

Thanks varesecrazy, that's interesting!! The garage doing the clutch said if I get the bolts out and back in greased they can do the clutch. If they snap a bolt they Will just give me my car back, no new clutch and one snapped bolt. ( No good to anybody ) ??
Just got my scudo back from AUTO CARE CENTRE st Helens Merseyside. Fantastic service they not only changed my clutch without removing the subframe, they also rang me to tell me that my scudo didn't have a Duel mass flywheel type and the clutch would be £500+ cheaper
. I can't praise these guys enough. Will defo be using them again.Similar threads
