Sub Frequencies

Hey Guys,

Looking to tune my subs.
Wat would you say is the optimum frequency setting for a 10" sub?

I have 2 in a sealed box.
I can set my amp to deal with just low frequencies on the channels for the subs.

How should i set the frequency for optimum bass from the subs?

Well, that all depends on what the speaker itself is made to run on ! A good speaker, ie I have a 10" duel vioce coil, and I set my x-over to 62Hz, and it is well happy at that. Amo gain at about 0.2db gain. It will go more, but then with some tunes or speach on radio, you'll get that sickly sound. Try and research the characturistics of your sub first, or 'gently ' do a trial n error.
