Technical Stupid HU on grande

I cant get the cage for my aftermarket sony cd player into the gap fiat give you...

Has anyone fitted an aftermarket one and made it sit properly?

You mean with a Fiat fascia adaptor or aftermarket one?

Yes, did you take out the original metal bracket?

you have to take the fiat cage out then put the facias on then your cage through the facias it should sit on the lip on the inside

you need to remove the few 'star' drive bolts holding in a large metal cage once the HU itself has been removed, then the facia adaptor can be fitted and the new cage slotted into that
