1976 Fiat 128 speedometer dial bent down and stuck. Not showing the speed. Fixed it by bending it up and super glued a needle to it to keep it straight.

I have seen the bent needle on older cars before, I assume the hot sun light causes it.
Happened on my old 3p back in the day, which had one of those ultra thin bent/folded metal speedo indicator, I was an apprentice at the time, old hand heated up a needle in place of the tip of soldering iron and forced it down length of speedo indicator of a solid plastic standard 128. Very effective
