Hey,

I had my front bumper etc repalced by a reputable Ford garage (accident repair centre) a few months back. I just went to remove my undertray and can't do it......

there are two bolts at the front bolting it to the bumber and presumably the chasis/frame. I've managed to unscrew the two bolts about half way (the one of which wobbles in circluar motion too) but now neither of them will undo or do up any further, they both spin but nothing happens, any suggestions?

cheers

Stu

IIRC the bolts screw into some kind of clip and it looks as tho they are rotating as well..Fun time on the horizon..;) :p

I have a similar problem, I need to undo the bolts and remove the tray as I need to change the oil, The inside of the heads have rounded so cannot be removed, I have tried knocking a socket over them that was no good also tried a pair of mole grips but because the heads are recessed cannot get a good enough grip on them:bang::bang:

I know it would be a pain but if its continually spinning and going nowhere you could take the front bumper off and put a set of mole grips on the bit that the bolt screws into to stop it moving.
