General Strange whistling Noise at Speed

Not bad 9 months into hte new car and the first problem. Driving around 190kmph and there was a whistling noise. Couldnt quite pinpoint where it was coming from so left it for a couple of weeks as it came and went. Then it started appearing at lower speeds as well so thought better take it in to get checked. Took it into garage in germany and went for a test drive with the Meister from garage.

Usual scenario when you want the dam noise to happen it doesnt. Quite funny really the meister was driving and got it to 150kmph no noise looks at me and says go faster and surprise surprise my answer was yep at least till you hear the noise. Luckily for us it started around 200kmph. And he looked as puzzled as me.

Been away skiing for a week and mate went to pick car up after a week. Probable fault someting wrong with window sealing(strange after 9 months but will see if it is). They replaced windscreen at a pricley cost of 1500 Euros due to all the electrical components on windscreen.

Thank Goodness for warrantly and praying i dont get a stone chip this winter.

Check this thread https://www.fiatforum.com/showthread.php?t=10981&highlight=wind. I was getting a Whistling/screeching sound at various speeds which now seems to have stopped. Never got to the bottom of it.

I have had one case of a whistling noise on my 9 month old 2.2 JTD, this was at speed with a strong crosswind, it appeared to come from above somewhere, I assumed it was caused by air blowing across the roof rack track.

The noise only came on when I was travelling in a certain direction and when I came back along the same road in the opposite direction there was no noise.

I have not heard it since, but I dont think Ive been in a strong crosswind since then.
