Technical Strange suqeal/beep noise from the hood

Hello, guys!

I recently got a 1.4 8v Punto 2013 plate. I noticed that upon opening a door after unlocking it with the remote, a strange beep comes on from the front of the car, probably under the hood. It stays on for like 3 seconds. It keeps coming on every so often, even when driving. I noticed it when I'm slowing down, not sure if it's because the car's sound is lower and I can notice it, or if it just comes on when the car is near stationery. I have no idea where it's coming from or what is causing it. Would really appreciate the help!

No, sir. It's dualogic.

there should be a short running of the hydraulic pump-for the gearbox - as you open the drivers door..( on UK models opening the passengers door does NOT trigger the pump)

I suspected this was the strange sound.., do let us know..,
