strange light on dash

hi i have a punto mk1 96 plate and i keep getting a light come up on the dash it looks like a hose spraying water but it only comes up wen i put the ignition on and sometimes when going up hill anyone got any ideas it shows up next to the battery light plz help

also if anyone has an 1.1 engine for sale i will be interested or maby just an oil ring thanks sam

its the fuel injection warning light.its okay if it comes on briefly whilst driving and comes on with the ignition normally.
