last week my sterrio was playing up turning off and back on. tryed cleaning it still did same, baught a new one it did the same.
couple of days later the airbag light was flickering now and then.
yesterday driving home the car realy pulled back on me (as though id pressed the brakes) as it did thet the headlights dimmed and so did the dash lights. the car stalled but got it going again as it was going downhill. then when i got home the centrel locking didnt work and the car wouldnt even start. lastnight tryed to see wat was wrong. couldnt find the problem so changed the battry wich braught a bit of life to it. then it was playing up again. then found one of the nuts on the + wire on the battry wasnt tight. tightend it and the car was working fine, started up etc. checked it again this mornin and it started still. thort grate its fixed. then wen i was going to go out the car didnt start at all.AGAIN.
starter motor is clicking. alternator moved a lil as it tryed getting to life. but still headlights dimming. one min the central locking will work. next min it wont. it seems as it works then when i try to start the car it doesnt. i think it may be an earth fault. but its realy strange. one min the dash lights will work and the headlights will. then next they wont come on. the lcd display in the dash has reset itself as though battry disconnected.i realy need help on this as i cant find wats wrong.

also the past few days its been hard to start. itd kick to life idle rev then drop below revs and die. to sort this i had to hold the revs a lil bit so the revs wer roughly around idle revs.had to do this till engine warmed up. but now and then it would still stall. also sometime when iv started the car the revs would build up themselvs to about 3000-4000 revs for a few seconds then drop. i thort it was because of the cold weather but now as theres no life at all i know it aint the weather. i realy do think its something to do with electrics but just wat i dont know.

if i went to car now centrel locking would work. clock will display. put electrics on they will be fine. soon as i turn ignition on. it wont start, the lcd display wont display a thing(whilst the key is turned to start engine) then then none of the electrics will work(even when key is turned just to electrics). clock still displays but the info resets except milage. then the centrel locking wont work also.

sometimes il check the centrel locking itl work. then il unlock and lock and do it several times and then it wont work. till i give it a lil rest then itl work again. the engines doing the same also if i give it a rest, ill hear electric noises as though its trying to start. and then try again and no noise at all.

found out the problem and it was a silly one :bang:
wat it was when car started and i changed the battery it was fine untill mornin wich i found was a loose nut on one of the leads that whent onto the + side of the battery. then it was ok till next day. so i ended up trying one last thing wich was putting the other battery back in wich has worked without any problems for 2days now. so basicly it was just that loose nut, but because id swapped the battery the one i put in must have been nearly dead haha. but year all is good now :D

You are aware also that as well as Ohms law and all the other stuff that relates to electricity, when working on Italian electrics you have to factor in Guiseppi's Paradox.

This states that the probability of the failure of an electrical component on an Italian car is directly proportional to how critical that component is to the working of the car.

This means that electic windows and seats will continue to work until the end of time, but the engine management system will spectacularly and mysteriously fail causing the dash to light up like Blackpool in September after 1,097 days.:)
