Stolen/broken into!

My car was today broken into and stereo stolen from my boot what is the best system out there to protect the car and is there any way of re-inforcing the locks on the car, im going to get the doors de-locked just wondering what else i can do to stop this again!?

you are perhaps heading down the right route, delock all doors but that brings up the getting in if battery goes flat issue, but it will deter most scum as fiats are one of the easiest cars to pop open mine was done and i delocked it and it feels bit safer now. you'll have to get a decent alarm system, preferably cat 1 like toad or clifford to open the doors when you un-alarm it. The only other thing you could do for safety is fit window safety film which is clear but if they try n smash it it shaters but stays in one piece.......a bi*ch to get into

only other thing after that is to get a more secure car unfortunately

i got a toad pro sterling cl on mine what cat is that and where can you get the flim stuff and whats the cost???

Window safety film sounds like good idea,after all put yourself in the posistion of the thief......I wouldn't give a XXXX what alarm it had or even if it was delocked,i'd just smash the window!

So where do you get this window film from then? And i was thinking about it earlier how will it work if you have you windows tinted?
Any Prices on the cost for this?

You can order security film from Motor World. As for alarms it has to be a clifford for me they are just the best out there

the americans sell a kit where flames shoot out the sides of the car, and burn the thieves, strangely its not allowed in this country, i wonder why
