Hi,

As you can probably tell from the title that my neighbour hit the stilo behind the door with her BMWs bumper when my was parked on the road.

When I got in the car to drive it the next day, The needles on the clocks where sticking and you could hear making a noise as if they where trying to spin. They go up and down and then there ok after that. This happens every time you start it. I have never had this problem before.

The car was taken away yesterday, I told them about the clock problem. They called today to say that would be repairing the stilo but said the clocks cant be related we would need a letter from fiat to prove it could be.

Do you think the impact could have caused this or not?

Well, if it definitely wasn't doing it before then it's almost certainly linked somehow.

Wiring loom creased perhaps or indirect impact damage :chin:

Claim for another Stilo

Quite a few Stilo clocks problems showing up now. I think they must be suffering from dry solder joints. Yours was probably on the way out, but the jolt from the accident was just enough to make it fail sooner than it otherwise would.
