Styling Stilo steering wheel on Punto

Did anyone install a Stilo steering wheel on a Punto, yet?

The connector unit (whatever it may be called) looks identical in dimensions, so do the green airbag plug (Stilo has some MultiStage thing with two plugs going on there) and the one for the horn. Aftermarket wheel hubs for the mk2 also fit the Stilo (and Alfa 147/GT, but that's essentially the same steering wheel as the Stilo).

I've fitted a 147 steering wheel in my mk2b - so if the wheel hubs are the same, then the Stilo should fit as well I reckon.

Fiat 500 steering wheel will fit also or at least I've seen one with it

Sorry to kidnap ya thread @Yiiiiieeeeeeshaw but what has been put as I own a stilo the alfa steering wheel is the same as the stilo one as there's an alfa 156 & 147 in the local scrap yard and wanted to get one as they are gorgeous is that right at

The airbag is not the same. The connectors are. It's a 15-20 minute job. I don't have radio controls on mine.

Thank you for the help so what airbag are you using the original punto one or the alfa ?

Note - the punto IIRC uses a single Deployment airbag

if the stilo uses twin deployment
1 - to burst the bag out the steering wheel
2 - then to inflate it

Then connecting it to just 1 is pointless... and morelikely to cause more damage/harm than good

Just a quick update on this I have my 147 steering wheel and wiper/indicator stalks all working .Were as before I didn't have any I now have intermittent wipe on the back and variable wipe on the front
