does the range on the trip computer go right down to 0 miles? ie 10 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1 mile left to empty?

I don't think anyone has had the courage to find out (especially diesel drivers )

I've seen mine down to 34 miles.

Below a certain level it will just show "-/-" which is not good!

Yeah, mine goes to that too.

Almost ran out once as the dial was still going up slightly from there being some petrol in the tank, but obviously not enough to keep the engine going. Happened literally metres from the petrol station, at rush hour. Kept having to restart the car to get it there and wasn't popular with the other motorists...never again

mine goes down to 34 miles and then stops, quite a random figure to read at really, would have thought it would have been maybe 30 or so

ive had mine on empty for about 40 or so miles and it got me to a garage fine

You'd think that it would stop somewhere around 31 miles really, which is about 50 kms... like you say, 34 miles seems quite random

It is Fiat we're talking about though. They do little random stuff with their cars like that, makes them...interesting

Ah yes... that is true. It is "interesting'... with many "features"
