Stilo LCD

Anyone been in the stilo clocks and noticed if the LCD screen back light is a bulb or LED? I think my 2nd hand clocks is starting to play up like my original ones (back light staying on) I need a couple of month before sending them away to get fixed proper so would it be possible to take a bulb out or snip a LED or two? Even if I can kill the LCD and keep the rest working I would be happy.

I am not seeing the difference with a few other posts in this section. If I said just LCD would that have made a difference? If someone is asking a question they are going to talk about their motor if its a problem so I am not understanding what this section is for.

The sticky post at the top of this section explains what it's for. i.e.

Tech Talk is a section for general technical questions, that don't really fit in the specific model sections, or with regard to sections such as tuning, security etc.

If your question is with regards to a model such as Punto,Panda etc,then post in the specific model section.

I will presume then you are just ticked off with people posting in this section as there is Punto posts, 500 posts, Doblo, Scudo and this stilo one below where you started to help. I was just the unlucky one who you decided to pull. OK, I will remember in future.
