Technical stilo cd fault

hi all, just bought used 52 plate 1.6 dynamic,my problem is cd player ,having tried several cd's it still shows NO CD on display any idea's thanks ps radio works fine

Are you trying Mp3 CDs in a radio/CD that doesn't support Mp3?

Try an original commercially available pre recorded disc in it.

If it still doesn't play, it's likely to be a fault with the CD player mechanism.

Not trying mp3 CD's as it is a radio/CD player, tried several pre recorded discs but still no joy, thanks for your quick reply.
