Hi chaps
My old dad is having major nightmares with his once trusty Stilo.
Basically the alarm, when connected, just goes off constantly. Lock the car, walk off, 5 mins later the alarm starts going off. Reset it, lock up, walk away, 5 mins and the alarm starts again. You can imagine how popular that made him with the neighbors.
My old man has had enough and just wants to take the sodding siren unit off, or isolate it completely.
I downloaded the e-Learn workshop manual for him (thanks for the post of that) and we printed off the relevant section. On the main diagram the siren appears to be component P90.
Trouble is after having a look at it at work my dad and his mate still cant find the actual siren unit. (Oh for the days of Haynes manuals and their useful photo guides.)
So....where is the siren unit actually located, and will removing it cause any knock on issues?
any useful advice (or photos of the siren location) you can give would be diamond. My old dad is at his wits end with it, which is a bit of a knock for him as hes an old school car nut who finds working on his Stilo a nightmare.
The car is a 1.4 Stilo Active right hand drive 2004 vintage.
cheers chaps in anticipation of help
