I own a Stilo Abarth late 04 reg. The last couple of weeks, with the hot weather, I have had to stop the car for fear of engine overheating. Now the car has not overheated, I did make sure before that happened that I did. I then let the car cool and managed to get home from work ok. The problem is the fault is intermitant and has only happened a few times. The last time it happened I had my sisters boy friend, an ex auto electrician to look at it and discovered that the fan wasnt kicking in. He told me that it was most likely the fan switch was broken but he couldnt find it on the car...
My questions????
Firstly where is the bloody switch??? LOL
What is the correct name for it?
Could it be something else??
Has anyone else had similar problems in Manchester (UK) and where did you get it sorted out?
Can anyone recommend a first class machanic that has lots of experience with Stilo's, are reasonably priced and dont take the ****???
(Please dont say Fiat dealerships, they wanted £380 just for a service!!)
Oh also, where could I get a service manual for my car?
