Hi. Two strokes followed by an epileptic fit gave the DVLA the bizarre idea I should be off the road for a while, so they took my license away:cry: Maybe, in a years time I'll get it back :D so, at risk of breaking the habits of a lifetime, I'm trying to think ahead.

When I was banned I had to sell the car; no point in watching it rust away in the yard for a year besides, the temptation:devil: might have been to much. I had an ELX 115 made in 2003 but first registered in 2004; damn thing hadn't even had it's first MOT. Anyway, it was an old style (high headlight) model and as well as standard ELX equipment, it had a factory fitted warming/cooling box in place of the front middle seat, and radio/cd controls on the steering wheel.

Does anyone know what other options were available on the high headlight model, such as full electric seat adjustments, seat warming/cooling etc?

Hi, I've got a 115 jtd 53 reg ELX., first registered in early 04, it's steel grey colour (silver), the cooler box is a good idea but I'd rather have a seat in the middle. I don't have steering wheel radio controls, I replaced my radio/cassette player with a sony radio/cd player that I had in a previous car, I bought the radio facia from ebay. I also bought a very good mat set from ebay (2 piece, full front and back), my multipla has got electric seat height adjustment. I've had the car just over a month and it is so versatile. I've always liked the look of them, the new ones are nice as well.

Hi ho Silver; mine was silver as well. Had events not turned out as they did I would have looked for a middle seat so I could swop seat and fridge around as needed.

Basically, what I'm trying to do is find out what different equipment was originally available for the high headlight model when these cars were ordered new, apart from the standard ELX gear. As a `for instance' fridge/warmer and steering wheel controls for the radio seem to be non standard. Although it might have been easy enough to fit the fridge/warmer later, I don't know if the wiring for steering wheel controls was part of the standard loom; retro fitting might have been a problem.

Hi combwork,
I've just had cruise control fitted to my multipla, when I bought the car I knew that it was not available as an extra so I quickly had it installed. I'm happy with it!
