Technical Stereo

If it's easy to describe, could someone tell me how to take the stereo out as I want to check the connections as I have a poor reception and the cassette player is playing (!) up?

If you could post a picture of the front of it I could tell you how and what you need to get it out

If you can't get a pic then does it have any holes/slots on the front of it?

It would probably have helped if I had said that it is the factory fitted unit in a 2000 (X reg) 1.6sx model. Sorry I don't know how to post a picture so I spose that doesn't bode well for trying to sort the problem out!!

standard radio prongs will do (£1 odd) 2 holes either side.

They're £4.99 in Halfrauds but if you have any thick wire coat hangers, just cut a 4" piece, bend it in half, and on the inside edges of the both ends file off an indent so that the clips will catch onto it

Easier to buy them though
