Got in my car this morning and for some bizare reason the stereo had a mind of its own.
By The Way I have the standard Grundig in the Mk 2 with a sony T-69 cd changer.
It started off normal where I had left it tuned to the usual radio station and then started to flick through other radio stations while on the screen it said IS-SCAN ON and then IS-SCAN off and keeps doing this all the time. So, the first thing I did was to prees the IS button BUT nothing happened, hmmmmm, so next I simply tried to select one of my pre tuned stations, which it selected for about 2 seconds then started the IS-SCAN agian. I decided to see if the CD was working and to my delight it did, For 10 seconds, then it changed track for 10 seconds then again for 10 seconds etc. Next idea was to try and see if somthing had gone wrong in the EXP mode so I held the button down for a few seconds and nothing happened it was then that I discovered that none of the buttons on the right hand side were working.
I decided at this point to take out the stereo and unplug it for a few mins (to maybe re-set somthing). When I plugged it back in nothing had changed for the better but now the clock has re-set to zero and keeps flashing, and because I can't use EXP I can't re-set it. Also the CD changer has now decided to load and un load itself repeatedly even when the ignition is off, so now I have had to remove the magazine to prevent my battery going dead. Needless to say I'm not very happy :( .

So do any of you know what may be wrong with it, or is it going to need replacing?

All helpfull coments welcome ;)
