Morning Guys and girls :)

The car ive picked up has had the stereo connection wires cut, rather ruthlessly and short for that matter. I have a wiring diagram so I could probably sit there in the cold manually connecting each wire, but thinking ahead.

Is it possible to follow the cable into the dash and replace? is it possibly connected by a plug or does it run straight from a wiring loom?

Any help would be much appreciated!

Ian

cant help your query but isnt that just the most annoying thing when you buy a used car?
especially a fairly modern car where the stereo leads are the ISO type and fit most modern stereos, even if you do have to a buy an adapter cable sometimes, they are expensive for what they are but by god, its worth it to avoid the hassle of following wiring diagrams!!

i really do not understand why people do this to cars because there is adaptors out there for most cars now so there should be no excuse for people doing this. its stupid because you are increasing the chances of electrical faults in your car.
