hello guys & girls

steering wheel on the 500 is getting lots of abuse & wear - 20,000 miles a year, with (wedding) so a few dents/tears are starting to appear. want to get a cover to put over the wheel, but not some 70's throwback:eek:

have a look on fleaBay but nothing suitable. any suggestions/links?

ta,

car passed 50K today. seems a bit excessive to change a wheel that soon. the joys of a white interior/wheel!

Not sure I understand the 'wedding'.

Royal steering wheels could re trim it for you. Will come back looking like OEM new one. I think visit us about £120 for leather or you keep an eye on eBay. They do come up every now and again.

I have similar issues but so does everyone, especially with the white steering wheel. 120 gbp to replace with oem?

I found that getting it covered in alcantara worked a treat :)

Not sure I understand the 'wedding' wear. Mind boggles about what could be happening. Foot damage springs to mind. However, I am probably way off target.
Am I missing something?

Initially. Bit of a fiddle to get them all back in and it's fine now.

Ha, I'm not sure where 'wedding' came from either. Drink may have been taken....

Cleaning the wheel won't make much difference as the material is starting to crease/rip. May have to invest in new one after Santa has been paid off!
