General Steering Rack RHD Required

Hello!

New to the group so warm welcomes from me, I’m looking for a new steering rack for my 2009 right hand drive panda. Has anyone got any information or is selling a rack as I can’t source one anywhere

The rack 51876166 is unique to the panda 1.1,1.2 and 1.3 with electric power steering

I need one as there’s play in the inner joints. I can’t find any online for right hand drive.
I believe the part number you’ve listed is for the mechanical rack no?

They are replaceable, screwed on to the rack

Have you got a link to brand new racks? It’s not the tie rod that have play, I’ve checked then already as that what I initially thought. But it’s the actual rack itself that got up and down movement

TRW seem to be the main aftermarket and are out of stock everywhere of RHD

There’s a mob in shetlleston in Glasgow who do steering racks I needed one for my old van, which was basically a fiorino, albeit it was a Citroen Nemo anyway they quoted me £450 plus vat to supply and fit.

Might be worth a phone call, at the time I contacted them back in February there was no stock of the racks anywhere but they were getting them in.
