Technical Steering Rack - discontinued

I need a replacement steering rack and apparently they discontinued the part in 2018. My garage can’t get a part from any of their 3 suppliers. I’ve tried local breakers’ yard to no avail.

Any suggestions for where to look for a steering rack? Advice from garage is more or less to sell the vehicle if I can’t get replacement steering rack and I really don’t want to do that. The set up works really well for me - and my dogs!

try a website called 1st choice car spare, they are linked to a lot of smaller breakers, you type in what you need and receive Emails from breakers offering the parts.

if it just leaking due to worn seals then try to get it refurbished. if the rack is rusty or bent then you do need a replacement.
