Hi all,

Can someone recomend me a good steering lock please. I know the steering wheel locks itself, but I would also like a visual deterant too.

Cheers in advance.

So really The best way to keep the car safe is
1 - leave it empty
2 - Put the Steering lock on
3 - remove keys
4 - pray its still there tommorow!

I thought the gearstick + Handbrake mechanism's were a Great way to stop them - But it proves there just as useless as the Steering Wheel lock!

But it takes 2minutes for them to get in and take them off
on a dark alley way - they've got your car and nothing you can do about it

Makes me feel glab the Punto's have an immboliser! its a must these days!

I use a basic crook lock, looks pritty stirdy. But more then anything its just a diterant.

If somone wants to steel your car they will dosent matter what car or what you do to secure it.

So basicaly you just need it to seam harder to steal which a steering wheel lock will do along with parking it in a place that is easily visible by many people.
