Technical Steering column wires...ahhh!?!?!

I recently purchased a new steering column from mrfiat.com b/c my turn signal was broken. Like a true professional, i just ripped the old one out and discarded it anyways...the new one has different wired colors and when i try my best to match them all up using the best judgement i have, which isn't much, all is crazy (ie right turn signal turns the brights on the left light only?!)

anyone know how to trouble shoot this? i checked the manual and unfortantely is silent on this issue.

any ideas?

Oh dear............

Colour codes almost NEVER match the manual.

About your only hope is to prod around with a multi meter or circuit tester to identify which circuit is which.

Failing that I'm afraid it may mean calling in an auto electrician with the matching bill..... $$$$$$$$$$$$$
