Has anyone here disassembled a Ducato steering column multifunction
switch (the gizmo with the stalks that control the indicators, wipers,
washers, et al)? My hi-beam pull switch is faulty. I have removed the
thing from the steering column and verified the problem with a
multimeter. Yes, I could fit a non-latching toggle switch to do the
same job, but if the gizmo can be repaired I'll take a shot. Trouble is
it looks as though any attempt to take it apart will result in instant
disintegration into zillions of tiny parts.

TIA,
-Steve Wilson

It's a all-in-one unit....probably bets to try scrappy for one.Need to take off steering wheel to remove however you dont say what model/year ducato you have.

Oops - will provide more info in future. Have taken off steering wheel and tested unit with multimeter. Also have quote from main agent for around 100 GBP inc VAT. Will fit simple non-latching toggle switch on dash as alternative.

Many thanks ...
