Technical starting up after a while on the drive

Just started the coupe after a 3 months on the drive and at first,sounded rather tappety but when it warmed up.....it quietened down and was fine.
Sound normal ?

Yeah. The oil wouldn't be coating the top of the engine's moving parts, so it'll sound tappety for a short while. As long as it's calmed down, you're fine. They're a little tappety anyway even when they're running right!
