I bought my 05 plate Stilo Multiwagon 1.9JTD in June 2009. In November of that year I pulled into a lay-by to go to the toilet and couldn't start the car again. I was told it was the starter motor, so I got that changed and everything was OK after that.
However, now the same problem has occured. I can only assume it is either the battery or alternator, as surely the starter motor is supposed to last longer than 18 months! I've only done 22,100 miles in it in total, and the car is nearly 7 years old so maybe it's time to change the battery and alternator?
