FIAT MAREA WEEKEND SX (Year 2000)

Lovely engine runs perfect:) starts OK day after day then without any notice does not want to start cold or hot. Engine turns but no fuel. If it is left for short periods of time or the next day starts ok. it starts for the mechanics when it should not so it is not possible to solve the problem:bang:

does the key code light remain illuminated when it wont start?

if it does remain illuminated it means the immob is the problem, usually due to a power supply problem (rusty conneciton on fuse) or a loose connector on the aerial around the ignition barrel.

if the key cod elight is not remainging illuminated i'd think the crankshaft position sensor is most likely the problem.

Thank you for your reply
Key code light des not remains illuminated
Two weeks i removed the red relay which control the few orerations to do with starting. I had no luck in matching it at our local auto centres. looks like it is a main dealer job. touch wood its been ok since that day. The canckshaft position sensor will be on the list of the things to check if the problem come back. THANKS
