Technical Starter Motor Query

Hi,

My sister has a mark 2 (K reg) fiat uno. Unfortunately, the starter motor has just failed and i need to replace it for her.

Can anyone let me know if there are various starter motor models that will fit, or is it a specific model?

I'd get one for the correct vehicle mate, your local motor factors will sort you one at a good price.
they charge you a surcharge when you buy a new one but this is then re funded once you take the old unit back...
