I've never got into playing games online, but I was just thinking the other day how much I loved playing Starcraft and wondered if there would ever be a sequel, so if there's a standalone version I'll definitely be getting it, and wouldn't mind a go at the beta if it's not online play only.
It probably will be as the testing will be of the Battle.net functionality, rather than the single player game. They'll have done that during Alpha testing I would imagine ...
There are loads of silly competitions you oculd get one!
IF you pre order on game they give you a beta key right now! The game will not be released till july, even then it could be pushed back agan.
Look likes they have stopped the beta key now!
I still play starcraft btw. There are still loads of players on Battle net for it.
