If you can make it click link to main event thread and click add me at top and come say hi to your fellow members, free drinks and lunch for forum members with a name badge (you need to go click add me on the event thread so there will be a name badge waiting for you on arrival ;))

Well it was a cracker of a day, FF's biggest event to date with over a hundred cars on the stand (y) and there were even a few mk1 punto's on the stand, i didn't manage to speak to any of them sadly but thank you for turning up whoever you were.

This white GT was truely a thing of beauty, whoever you are I take my hat off to you sir. My old GT was stock and in pretty good condition but this thing totally puts it to shame. As far as i could tell this was completely stock bar the ride height?

Think i recognise this one but can't quite put a username to it..

And nice to see a nice, honest basic spec car thats unmolested, good work whoever this was.

There was one or two more mk1's i didn't manage to get a photo of just as it was so busy on the stand. I hope next year more of you mk1 owners will come though!!!

Thank you for allowing me to show my Mk1, mine is the standard Punto S shown in the post, I'd love to bring the car again next year, hopefully with the car looking even better, hopefully next time we can also have a chat.

Take care and good luck with future events

hi thanks for the complements on my gt , it was my first visit to stanford hall show and hoping to do some more this year ?
The car is almost standard apart from bailey dump valve and lowered although it may be returning it to standard high soon , I have had the car for 10 years now but it's not used much as I have another car .

to be honest i always wanted to lower mine a bit, one thing i think is acceptable on a stock or near stock GT ;)

Mine had a baileys D/V fitted when i got it but i found it spooled up so much quicker with a recirc valve refitted, addictive as tisch tisch noises are. I used a recirc valve off a saab which was the same as the oem GT one except with metal innards instead of plastic. Finding the correct pipe was quite tricky though as i didn't want a bit of obvious silicone hose in there.

although it looks good lowered it spoils the ride ? , my son who is four has started to say ouch if we run over a pebble in the road !
I am tempted just to take the dv off and go standard , I av even found out the original radio !!
