Hi there. First, a little introduction. I have a 99 Marea ELX 2.0 20V 127HP (gasoline). This engine is only produced in Brazil, where cars with engines up to 128HP pay less taxes. The only difference from this engine to the 142HP unit is in the ECU's software. Both engines have a phase shifter that controls the relative position between the intake and exausth valvles camshafts. In the 142HP engine, the phase shifter is activated above 5000rpm to change the intake valvle camshaft's position in relation to the exausth (advance it), while in the 127HP engine the phase shifter is always off. The result in an engine that burns around the same amount of fuel but misses some 15HP. What do I need? I need the binary file for the standard 142HP Fiat Marea engine, so I can program a new EPROM and finally turn my engine into something real. Ok, it's good enought with 127HP, but why not 142? If someone has this file and would like to send it to me, I will appreciate a lot :) My email is [email protected]
Thank you in advance for any reply!
