General Stalk adapters for after market head units

Has anyone been able to find a stalk adapter to fit a new Sony head unit CD player to the sterring remote controls that came with the original Blaupunkt CD player? I can find many for the Ulysse and maybe there is a croos over.
Surely I am not the first person to fit a new CD player into my JTD ELaganza
