I went out for a bike ride around Ingleton in North Yorkshire today. Last year on a walk up to the summit of Ingleborough I spotted a Panda in a field at Crina Bottom slowly returning to nature. The road up is strictly 4x4 territory, so I wanted to check whether it was a mk1 or mk2 4x4.

And here is what I found:

Hmm, not sure it is a 4x4 now...and it is...

A 750L! Blimey, that did well to get up here!

DVLA says:

The information contained on this page is correct at the time of enquiry.

Bonus quiz- can anyone guess what vehicle is off to the left in the 2nd pic??

Quiz- getting much warmer now- just up the scale of the thing and think Brit.

The panda was quite near to the house-within sight and the dry stone wall around was quite high and precarious, so I didn't want to attempt to get in. The OS map ref is SD 722 735 for anyone wanting to pinpoint it.

I think you could get your fist in the holes in the sills! If anyone wants me to get some more pics and info, just ask.

Nitro_warrior gets top marks!

It is a Land Rover- an F-reg forward control one, so a bit unusual for a rural runabout (not that it has moved in a year or 2 either!).
