General Sporting Catalytic Converter

hiya just wandering if the sporting cat could be used on the 899cc? will it have any bad effects or just seem pretty much the same and pass the mot? cheers.

Not sure it would fit: exhaust mani and cat back are different. Why?

because my cinq has got no cat in it as i took it out stupidly, and a mate of mine has got a sporting one, so just wanted to know if it would do the same job.

Never done it. You could try ePer to see if the parts numbers are the same.

If not, should be doable, but I'd guess some shut n' cut work and welding.

Might be easier to get one from a scrappy.
