Good news(y) see the Mot guy is always friendly if you are convinced you are going to fail, it's only if you reckon everything's OK you hit trouble.
Dodgy lights are just an Italian cars sense of humour anyway, my Punto has now failed two years running on a sidelight which always works fine any other time but conks out immediately when faced with an MOT station until jiggled. gotta love 'em!

On a final note, the Fiat Dealers are giving me a refund for the MOT inspection that was done

I didn't ask fo it and I know they didn't have too but it was nice gesture and it saves us all falling out over the whole thing ;)

Just going to rebook splutter now

After Plug's really awful weekend I feel bad about posting up good news but I hope you all don't mind..

Splutter passed the MOT!!!!

Grand expenditure was about 11 quid on bulbs (I replaced all the headlight and tail/brakelight and the fog light with up rated bulbs which I know was overkill but hay, he deserved it)

Just stopped off at Starbucks this morning for a little java and took a quick snap of him as if he didn't pass it might of been his last journey:(

Thankfully he's going to be around for a long time to come ;)

I thought you said you didn't have a 4x4 - splutter is clearly offroad :D (y)

Well done on keeping your faith in him.

Phhha, you call that off road in a 750 :p

If only Panda's could tell stories, my 750 has almost been off roading more than my Sisley :p . The good ole first year of driving :D

BTW, I was working by delivering phones to the repair centre and not just taking a short cut for posh coffee, honest!

I've still got the engine swap to go yet so poor splutter has a bit of a way to go....
