The new alloys I've purchased have a centre bore diameter of 70mm that goes down to a 60mm:

Can someone please tell me if I need to get spigot rings to go into the top, wider bit or I need them to go into the smaller diameter part to reduce them down to 56.6?
Hopefully that makes sense!
Any help would be great, thanks!

[Q UOTE=Sweex;3493000]Caliper gauges are cheap enough mate :)[/QUOTE]

I've ordered some off ebay that are 70.1 to 56.6, they were only £5 but fingers crossed they fit!

Other alloys were a bust, one was slightly buckled so it didn't hold air

Anywhoooose, got a refund and have upgraded to some Fiat 500 17'' alloys, however they are 4x98 and the centre-bore diameter is 58.1

So I need some spigots that are 58.1 to 56.6, does anyone know of any companies that can produce spigots to this size?

I have emailed companies and looked around the internet but had no luck so I was thinking of using electrical tape as its only a 1.5mm gap but will it be safe to use that with wobble bolts?

Any help would be appreciated :)

I've just bought some abarth 500 17" wheels to which ones have you got? (Pictures)
I'm having a company in Finland custom make the spigot rings for £40. Place in the uk wanted £72 to make them from aluminium. I'm going with the wobble bolts to. Not happy about that but I want the alloys on so can't have it both ways.

£40 isn't bad, are they plastic ones?

I am not sure about the wobble bolts too, they don't sound very safe but where are you getting yours from?
Cheers

Ye there the plastic ones from this site below. I could find anywhere that did our size as standard.

I test fitted a wheel with the wobble bolts and they seemed to fit well enough just had to put all 4 bolts in at once and tighten each a bit at a time. I got mine from eBay. There M12x1.5 30mm wobble bolts. The standards are 22mm but I tested them on the rear and they went all the way in now problem?
varesecrazy it is ridiculously expensive. Their justification was that it's going to be really thin. Only going to be 0.75mm thick. But that's still room to move hence spigots.

Thanks for the link, just picked up my alloys up :D
However I got a bunch of bolts with them and I can't work out what the little ones do, any ideas?

Not a clue what them extra bolts are and there are only 7 of then so it can't be that they were 2 for each wheel or something? Have you found a way to get the centre cap off without feeling like your going to snap them?

The previous owner probably lost one. Normally 2 in each disk. Help to locate the wheels. Never use them myself.

I don't think I need them really and yeah I was on edge, I just got my car key and gently lifted the bit where there's a gap and slowly went round, not a single scratch, phew
