Ive done loads of searching and there are very few topics which actually tell me what I can do to a SPI Sei sporting. Can I use a Mckrich chip? Can I use a Tricker TB? I know I can change the air filter and exhuast. But I would like to know please! Thanks,

Fred

Few threads on how to tune an N/A car? I found loads by just doing a few quick searches!

As for tuning it depends how much you have to spend, you could spend your money on a Performance Exhuast, Stainless manifold, Induction kit such as a GSR kit, change spark plugs and leads to performance ones (Basics)

Or you can go a little bit further and get a performance chip and the Tricker 40mm Tb and also make your BHP more effective by removing weight!

And if you really want to go all the way you can consider a Turbo (which im sure there is many hundreds of threads on Turbos) or a full N/A Tuning session with GSR, Wolf Direct and or many others which will cost into the £2000+ range but will give you way more power.

Hope this helps

100% dependent on money and what you want to do

Want to sound better with a little more grunt, zorst and air filter as basics

Plugs and leads

Then Chip as its an easy swap, and a TB if your handy with a spanner.

Getting that sub out the back

Removing back seats (a little extreme, but how often would use them with lowered suspension and a big zorst?)

1242 engine swap

Yes thanks guys! I am aware of the tuning potential of these engines its just I wasnt sure if it was all possible with the Sei. I have always had a Cinq so never really read the topics about Sei tuning.

If its an SPI its the same engine, thus same stuff

Only things that bolt onto the frame (strut brace) are majoryly different

So treat it as a cinque, and if your unsure, we're happy to help!
